Why The Project Exists?
I’ve spent most of my working life in hospitality — behind bars, on floors, in leadership, and in the tough spots that most people don’t talk about.
I’ve seen what strong operations look like, and I’ve seen what carrying pressure quietly can do over time.
Long hours. High standards. Responsibility shouldered alone.
Eventually, people stop talking about that strain — and it starts to have a real impact.
The Oak Project exists because I don’t think that should be invisible.
The Oak Room
It’s a podcast built around honest conversations with people across hospitality — individuals who’ve been in the thick of it. These are not interviews or advice sessions; they are proper conversations. The kind you’d have after service, or over a brew, discussing the nuances of hospitality design, sharing insights on hospitality strategy, or contemplating ideas for a successful discovery call.
